The Benefits of Being a Tea Drinker

Tea is not only enjoyable but healthy and easy to make, too, unlike its other alternatives.

As matcha is getting more known in the US, let us discuss the health benefits of a tea.
Over 150 million Americans today have been consuming a variety of teas. So what about it?

1. Better your Concentration
You are not the only one who would drink chamomile after having a tiring day. Would you want to add some green tea into the mix?
Studies have revealed the good effects of green tea on brain function. It improves alertness and calms you down simultaneously.

It is known in Africa that Rooibos or red tea is caffeine free and native to their place.

It has been said that this decreases insomnia and lessens stress and headaches, too. If you don’t like caffeine, reach for the red tea.

2. Detoxifies yourself
, It’s all about detoxing.
The very products that we use in detoxing are the ones that leave out chemicals in our systems.

Detoxing has become a popular method of ridding the body of harmful chemicals.

Green, black, white, ginger, etc. are all teas that have detoxifying effect.

3. Fights off inflammation
Ginger, garlic, and turmeric have something in common.

They are very popular anti-inflammatory agents. Allow steeping of the minced garlic and turmeric in a hot ginger tea.

You can also use ginger and chamomile if you don’t want the ginger and turmeric.

No need to prepare for an Advil as you won’t be needing it anymore.
If you want to have a caffeine touch to your tea, you may add green tea.

4. Tea during period
Get your peppermint tea. It soothes the stomach. When you experience cramping, green tea makes it feel better.
Coffee is not the answer when you are experiencing unpleasant periods. Tea will keep you hydrated.
Another option is the red raspberry leaf tea.

5. Antioxidants in teas
This is the most important thing. The very reason why scientists and health personnel are going obsessed over tea.

These chemicals are the reason why berries and other fruits and vegetables are so healthy. Antioxidants give off positive effects to our body.

It saves us from these: cancer, aging, risk of strokes, heart problems and liver problems. They also reduce blood pressure and cholesterol. And so on and so forth.

So wait no longer!

Ditch the Starbucks habit and be a tea drinker. There’s definitely a lot of tea for every life’s occasion.
